(1). When installing the halogen bulb, please turn off the power and use a plastic cover to protect the bulb glass case clean. Do not touch it with your hands. If you touch it accidentally, wipe it clean with alcohol.
(2). The halogen bulb is made of high-temperature resistant quartz glass. If it gets on your hands or oil, the quartz glass will lose its luster, turn into a turbid color, reduce the brightness, shorten the life span, and even break the glass shell.
(3). When the halogen bulb is lit, the temperature of the sealing part should not exceed 350 degrees, otherwise the life of the halogen bulb will be shortened, so the halogen lamp must be well ventilated and heat dissipated.
(4). When the halogen bulb is lighting, avoid the cold air blowing directly on the bulb.
(5). Avoid shock or vibration during halogen bulb lighting.
(6). When the halogen bulb is on or just after it is turned off, because the bulb temperature is still high, never touch it with your hands.
(7). Halogen lamps should not be turned on/off frequently, otherwise their life will be significantly shortened. The reason is: Compared with normal operation, the temperature of the tungsten filament in the lamp is very low at the moment of turning on the lamp, so the resistance is very small. Under the same voltage, the current is much larger than the normal working current, so Tungsten atoms evaporate fast; at the same time, because the gas temperature in the bulb is relatively low, the decomposition rate of tungsten halide is slow, so the tungsten atoms returning to the tungsten wire are much less than during normal operation. Therefore, the consumption of tungsten filament is the largest at the moment of turning on the lamp, so frequent turning on/off will significantly shorten the life of the filament.
